"All Gave Some, Some Gave All." This Billy Ray Cyrus song became the anthem for millions of Vietnam-era veterans. Although it was to remind us of those who died in combat, it really speaks of those who came back, our veterans.

The song talks about looking in the eyes of a veteran. Last Memorial Day I had the chance to look at the eyes of the World War II and Korean War veterans from Carleton VFW Post 4093. There are only a handful left now from the more than 300 young strong men I met in 1969 when I joined that organization.....
